Gunma’s late economy clusters around Takasaki and Maebashi, with additional footprints in Ota and Isesaki. Onsen towns (Kusatsu and others) carry a separate leisure vocabulary that should not be flattened into adult nightlife. The prefecture is industrially visible and nightlife-modest in national myth.
